| Welcome to goviral network! |
| These guidelines are meant to help and to support you along the use of
goviral network platform (GVN) |
| GVN is a self service platform providing publishers and bloggers
with a fully automated centralized destination to access branded video content. |
| Through GVN platform you can access videos that fit your content,
monitor the interactions that your audiences have with those videos, follow your earnings and optimize them
constantly… and get paid automatically on a monthly basis ! |
| 1 - Sign up on GVN |
| Go to http://www.goviralnetwork.com, click on registration
link (“Create account”) and start to enter details about you and your site(s) or blog(s) |
| Make sure you provide accurate information in order to simplify our exchanges,
to improve the relevance of campaigns we offer to you, and to make sure that you receive your money on a regular
basis and on time! |
| The sign-up process is in 4 steps: |
- Enter generic information about you (name, site name, email address, password and site category)
- Check your mail box, open the email sent by GVN and click on the activation link
- When redirected, enter the last missing info about each site you would like to register
- GVN team will hopefully validate you site(s) shortly and you will be informed about status of your site application via email
| If you have several sites or blogs, please make sure you “Add new site” and
register each site or blog. The videos views generated on a no-validated site won’t be counted nor paid to you. |
| GVN Publishing team always starts their day by validating site applications,
first thing in the morning. So you shouldn’t wait too long before getting your site(s) validated! |
| IMPORTANT: |
| You can decide not to receive any emails for GVN, however we recommend you to accept
so you always get info about new campaign launch immediately at the start of the campaign. This way, you can maximize
the revenue that you can make per campaign, by running it at an early stage when there are still significant budget
remaining for this campaign. |

| Even if you don’t want to receive Campaigns alerts, we advise you to accept to
receive “Expiry alerts”, so you are aware immediately when a campaign has ended. |
| Remember to check you spam folders if emails you’re expecting from us
doesn’t appear in your mailbox! |
| 2 - Pick and post your first campaign! |
| Once your site(s) is/are approved, you can go
to goviralnetwork.com and select videos to post on your site or blog. |
| If you have several sites or blogs, use the
drop-down menu to select the site of yours where the video will be placed. |
| You can also filter the campaign list by
removing the campaigns that are not targeting the countries where you have most of your audience, and by removing the campaigns that have no budget left. |
| Click on the video you would post based on the information available
(Campaign Description, Starting Date, Funds Remaining, Targeted Countries and Payment per View, and campaign Status),
and customize the player that will run this video. The player at the bottom of that page will change according to your
selecting settings. |
| Then copy the embed code and paste it on your site or blog… as simple as that! |
| 3 - Syndicated Player: several campaigns into one player |
| This is the first row that you see on the campaign page – it looks like this |
| The Syndicated Player (SP) enables you to run several videos into one player, dynamically. |
| That means that the player recognizes the IP of your user, and will play a video that is targeting this user’s country. |
| In other words, the SP serves 100% of targeted videos. |
| In case there are “currently” no campaigns available for the countries where your users are located, you have had the possibility when setting the SP, to serve a default graphical element of your choice (banner, other video, other ad unit...) |
| The SP is a pure ad unit supporting videos, and is not ideal for editorial placement, since the content is different from user to user. |
| If you wish to post a video and write about it, we recommend to use stand alone players (all other videos list page) |
| It is possible to make the player of custom size by adding dimensions directly into the code as "w" (width) and "h" (height). Below is an example of how a modified tag would look like for the player sized 470x300 pixels. |
| Custom dimensions are highlighted: |
| <script type="text/javascript" src="http://videos.video-loader.com/sp/44511243126467282738041.js?w=470&h=300"></script> |
| Please remember that it is essential that the player is not cut, fully visible and fits your site's layout. |
| 4 - Reporting and revenue monitoring |
| Most of information about your performances
for the campaigns you run is available on a single report called “Publisher report”,
accessible from Top Menu > MY ACCOUNT > View stats |
| The publisher report contains filters to extract report per: |
- Period -
- Website - in case you have several sits registered under you GVN Publisher account
- Type of Placements - Stand Alone placement, Syndicated Player placement, or both
Publisher Report gives you information per campaign about the followings:
- Earnings - you’ve made with this campaign
- Effective CPM - your average revenue for 1000 impressions
- Payment per view - amount or average amount paid per view
- Payable views - Views that were made in targeted territories at
a time when there is/was still budget available for that campaign
- Total views - total amount of views generated on the campaign,
no matter if they were generating revenues (see “payable views” definition above)
- Impressions - the amount displays of the player running the campaign
- PtE% - (Play to End rate) average percentage of total video length watched by your users on this campaign
- Your Funds remaining - amount of remaining funds that you can earn from this campaign
- Total Funds remaining - amount of total budget left for this campaign
You can also access statistics per country, by clicking on “by Country”
(as shows View Stats report described above).
This reports list all countries where you have had users watching
this campaign’s video, and offers the same type of statistic as in the “View Stats” report.
The data in this report covers all countries where users have been watching the video regardless
of whether views are payable.
| 5 - Follow you monthly consolidated revenues |
Accessible from that link.
This reports list the earnings that have been accumulated and that are not paid yet.
You can also check paid invoices clicking that link.
It redirects you to “Invoices” report showing all invoices since you’re active on GVN, per month. (See next paragraph dedicated to Payments.
You can access this report directly from Top Menu “List Invoices”.
| 6 - Payments |
We make a payment once per month, on or around the 22 of the month. Payments are made by
Bank Transfer or via Paypal.
If the total of your approved invoices (see below for approval process) exceeds €50 on
10th of the month following then you will be paid in the subsequent payment. If you have not accumulated
50€ of revenues in one month, then the payment is pending until you have accumulated 50€.
Example 1: I made 75€ in August 2009, so I will get paid full amount by end
of September 2009.
Example 2: I made 35€ in August 2009 – I don’t receive payment by end of
September, because my Account Balance is under 50€. However during September, I’ve made 35€ again.
By end of October, I will get paid 70€ - sum of both August and September earnings, being above 50€.
GVN does not operate any exceptional payments, outside normal payment day occurring by
end of each month, as explained above.
WE RECOMMEND YOU TO IMMEDIATELY ENTER YOUR FULL BANK OR PAYPAL DETAILS AND PERSONNAL
INFORMATION WHEN YOU SIGN UP ON GVN, IN ORDER FOR YOUR FIRST PAYMENT TO GO THROUGH WITH NO DELAY.
There is nothing more frustrating than waiting another month before getting paid, because
you simply forgot to fill in your home address details on your Account Settings.
You can easily review the information you entered when signing-up and
edit them afterwards
